Christmas Community Postal Service

This year’s Christmas Postal service with 7th Epsom Scout Group will be running for the first two weeks in December. Collection and delivery can be made in Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, Epsom Downs, Cuddington and Stoneleigh. Yellow post boxes will be placed in these and other areas including four in the Ashley Centre. At the bargain price of 50p per card for local deliveries, last posting date is the 14th December. Listen for full details of the locations of the yellow post boxes.


What’s On!

A Jolly Good Time at Bourne Hall

A week of family fun begins at Ewell Yule in Ewell Village on the 8th December followed by a week of Christmas Activities at Bourne Hall from 9 – 16 December:

Ewell Yule

‘Ewell Yule’ is the annual community Christmas event in Ewell Village on Friday, December 8th (5pm-8.30pm). There’ll be lots of Christmas shopping opportunities, entertainment, activities for the kids, plenty of festive cheer and even an opportunity to visit Santa. Check on the Ewell Yule Facebook page for more details.

Ewell High Street and Dorset House car parks will be free from 4pm on Friday 8th December until 7am the following day for Ewell Yule.

A Day full of fun for all the family with the grand opening of Bourne Hall‘s Christmas Grotto on Saturday 9th December with a line-up of performances from local dance schools. The Mayor will be doing Bourne Hall’s Big Christmas light switch on at 16:30. A free day out for all the family!

Neil Sands Presents Christmas Memories 2023

Described as Neil Sands Presents Christmas Memories 2023 is the perfect pre-Christmas treat, warming your heart on the coldest winter’s day, taking everyone back to a time when Christmas was “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” taking place on Monday 4th December at 2:30pm

Wizard of Oz

Journey with Dorothy as she remembers ‘There’s no place like home‘ in this year’s magical Christmas Wizard of Oz panto. Friday 15th December 2023 to Monday 1st January 2024.

Epsom: Epsom & Ewell Borough Council car parks will be free on 10, 17, 24 and 25 December.

Quiz Night at Swail House

On Friday 15th December there will be a quiz night in the Bradbury Hall, Swail House, Ashley Road, Epsom. Proceedings will start at 6pm and finish around 8pm. 

There will be a professional quiz master hosting the event. Sighted volunteers will be with each team to assist. In addition, there will be a double bonus ball prize draw.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided. If you are interested in participating, then please let us know so we have an idea of numbers and to allocate people to teams. So get involved, it should be a fun night. All enquiries should be sent to the Swail House Association at swailhouseassociation@gmail.com.
