Epsom and Ewell’s twinning with Chantilly is celebrated as the Chateau de Chantilly was named France’s favourite monument for 2025, highlighting both towns’ shared equestrian heritage. Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust has been ranked among the top in the country for cancer care, despite ongoing infrastructure challenges. RAF Regiment Band Concert
7:30pm–9:40pm on 3rd October at the Epsom Playhouse Theatre
The Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment performs in concert to raise welfare funds for the armed forces community. Tickets £25 each, available from the box office (01372 742555 or 742227).
Surrey Philharmonic Orchestra Concert
7:30pm on 15th November at St George’s Church, Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead KT21 2DA
A concert dedicated to Neil Gilchrist, featuring Brahms’ Third Symphony and Schumann’s Cello Concerto in A minor, with soloist Kosta Popovich.
Age Concern Epsom Quiz Night
7:00pm on Saturday, 18th October at the Epsom Town Social Club
Hosted by a quiz master, includes pizza and a free drink with entry. Open to individuals and groups; solo attendees will be placed in a team. Tickets £15 per person. For details, contact 01372 732451.
