Fire Safety for Vulnerable Adults

This week we have important information from the Autumn newsletter of the Surrey safeguarding adults board about a recent Fatal Fires report. The report concluded that the majority of people killed by fires in Surrey were vulnerable because of age, disability or an health issue. There are resources and services available to help keep you or someone you know safe. Contact Surrey Fire Rescue service for help and advice, they may fit safety devices such as free smoke alarms, discuss organisations that can help with resources such as fire retardant bedding or linking a smoke alarm to your Telecare system.
