Fast Track Planning

From the 1st April 2024 some types of planning applications can be fast-tracked for a fee, in addition to the cost of submitting a planning application:

  • Householder Applications £350 – for instance, those required for extending homes e.g. building a single storey rear extension, or front porch.
  • Certificate of Lawful Development Proposed (Householder) £150 – an application to show that the work you are proposing to do to a house is a ‘permitted development’ and therefore doesn’t need a formal application.  Sometimes you will need a certificate of this nature when you sell a house.
